The club shall be running a special offer for Non-League Day 2019

Ollerton Town can now announce their plans for Non-League Day 2019 and the club shall be running a special #TownFor2Pound offer, in an attempt to support the Northern Counties East League's #Target500 campaign.

Non-League Day was set up by James Doe in 2010 as a social media experiment, but has now grown to become an annual part of the football calendar. Always scheduled to coincide with an international break, Non-League Day provides a platform for clubs to promote the importance of affordable volunteer led community football while giving fans across the country the chance to show support for their local non-league side.

The NCEL this year are running an ambitious #Target500 campaign. The aim of the campaign is to get crowds of at least 500 at all of our games on Saturday 12th October, 2019. League Development Officer, Simon Pollard said: "The launch of #Target500 Campaign is very important for the NCEL community. It is hoped our clubs will engage with their community positively to increase support and attendances beyond the Non-League Day initiative."

We are at home on Saturday 12th, hosting Doncaster-side Rossington Main, and we can announce that we shall be reducing our entry fees to just £2 for both adults and concessions! Under 16's remain free with a paying adult and it is hoped these reduced prices shall help entice some new faces to come and visit The Fast Frame and support their local team.

We shall also be producing a bumper match day programme, offering more content for the same price of just £1.50.

On top of this, the club are also exploring further possibilities to help incorporate the local community as much as possible.

Once again this year, Prostrate Cancer UK is the official charity of Non-League Day and the club also be using our fixture to help raise funds for this more than worthy cause. We shall be going round with a bucket asking for donations to go to the charity whilst we shall also be selling Man of Men pin badges.

The club hopes that you will join us next Saturday for what will hopefully be an entertaining game and a celebration of Non-League football.

Be sure to keep an eye out on our social media channels for any updates over the next few days.
