Ollerton Town can confirm that centre forward James Munson has left the club to sign for Rainworth Miners Welfare of the NCEL Premier Division.
At the club we've always had the attitude that we'd never stop players from leaving to play their football at a higher level and we wish 'Muns' all the best in this new chapter of his footballing career.
James is a great lad to have around the club and he always gave 110% when called upon. He made 17 appearances for us this season, with the majority coming off the bench, scoring two goals away to Hall Road Rangers and Eastwood Community.
The transfer is the second to happen between ourselves and Rainworth recently, after midfielder Matthew Thompson left the Wrens to sign for us earlier this month.
