Missing several players, Ollerton went down to two Matthew Crane goals.

Two Matthew Crane goals in the space of three minutes sentenced a depleted Ollerton Town side to their first defeat in four games as they lost 2-0 to Winterton Rangers on Saturday.
After securing safety last week with an impressive win over Glasshoughton Welfare, Dave Winter’s Ollerton were without several key players and forced to field a makeshift eleven. Their chances weren’t helped when Mark Carter was shown a straight red card after half hour.
Ollerton managed to hold out until the 58th minute when Crane fired in his twenty-sixth goal of the season. On 61 minutes, he made it twenty-seven. The referee harshly pointed to the spot after Greg Tobin was deemed to handle the ball when appealing for a foul, and Crane stepped up to dispatch the spot kick past Ollerton ‘keeper Scott Gretton.
On another day, Ollerton would have given their hosts a closer game but it just wasn’t to be. With only two games left of their debut season in the NCEL, Ollerton will be looking to pick up some more points to finish as high as possible.
